Great for my purposes Needed something to keep my feet dry and warm canoeing in spring fed streams in the fall and early winter. Great, comfortable, fit with enough sole to withstand gravel stream beds. Worn with wool socks for toasty warmth.

Perfect for launching my kayak in cold water! Your Boundary shoe really filled the bill for me for fall/winter kayaking. I can now wade into very cold water to launch my kayak without the discomfort of cold, wet feet. My feet stayed warm and dry even though the air temp was in the low 40's. Now I can keep kayaking until ice forms on the lake! Thanks for an excellent product and wonderful customer service.

waterproof & warm These are neccesary for cold weather kayaking. Feet are dry at the end save for sweat you get in neoprene. They're about 2/3-3-4 the way up my calf to my knee, which is perfect for launching and wading around in freezing cold water in perfect comfort without being unneccesarily bulky during the vast majority of the time when you don't need them. They seem a few inches taller than the older models a few years back, and the extra height is perfect. I don't notice I'm wearing giant boots while kayaking, as the fit is very nice. Not much to say about their use in cold-weather kayaking, as it's pretty straghtforward, and the just simply fit the bill perfectly. And I know I'll lugging them in the daypack in the spring-summer to help ford icy shallow creeks and runoff I get in the mountains, or even muddy cold swampy muck. The cinch at the top would even keep enough water out of the boot to allow going full knee deep or more without getting cold feet halfway across a raging spring runoff. And the tread seems quite durable, and that it would afford very good footing on creek rock beds during crossings. No more turning back at unexpectedly difficult cold creeks in the middle of favorite loops.
