Description

Giro Sport Design: Remedy S Helmet - Altrec.com Product Description:

When your Freestyling attitude takes a hit after a front lever face plant, the Giro Remedy S Helmet gives you the full-face protection to get up and give it another attempt. The tough carbon fiber shell with EPS impact foam liner is lightweight and offers full-wrap cushioning, so you won't feel totally rejected if you get your bell rung. The 14 vent flow-through design passes cool air from front to back to keep your temp down after a miss-hit. A removable visor offers additional protection, while keeping the sun out of your eyes when targeting the next launch. Delivering optimal coverage that stands up to the most radical line or jump, this helmet is preferred by out on-the-edge riders like J.P. Auclair and Pep Fujas.

Great helmet, light, fresh, good color I'm satisfied. I use this for "Down-Hill", and I think it's GREAT!

great helmet, excellent fit This helmet rocks! excellent fit, comfortable chin strap, good ventilation, and great looks. Only down side, face guard causes exhaled air to flow back and fog goggles on cold days only while riding up on chairlift..not that much of a problem. Bottom line this is a great helmet

Great protection, some minor issues. As others have said this helmet is large (externally), but I don't think ridiculously. The main complaints I have are in high winds (50+ mph) my ears get cold. The open ears with mesh over them provide little wind blockage. But the biggest complaint is my goggles fog up almost immediately when not moving, and they never used to do that. The chin guard seems to redirect your exhalation right into your goggles... super annoying. Maybe if you have brand new goggles this wouldn't be a problem. I bought Cat Crap and treated the lenses, and it worked ok for the rest of the day. Yet, I can see this being a continuing problem.

Is this Useful? - Yes - No ( 2 of 3 thought this was useful.)
