4.5 Star Rating for Sorel Boots Men's Hood River Snow Boot Sorel Boots: Men's Hood River Snow Boot - 3 Reviews

Great Boot, Great Price Rating: 4.5 Stars I wear between 11-11.5, and Medium to Wide depending on cut of the shoe. I read the reviews and ordered a 11.5 Medium. They are great: quality construction, handsome, and warm. The 11.5 M is very comfortable with a thin sock but large enough to wear with a thick sock. They are easy to get on and off. The only minor "Con" would be that they are a tad heavy. I would by this again; and I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Good middle temp boot I work in very cold remote sites in Alaska and I am always having to change from heavy packs to inside boots. I usually buy a brand of boots that have the gore stretch on the sides for ease of on and off. These boots seem well built and I find them warm enough for my needs. The sole is not very aggressive, but that works both ways. My only problem is where the leather and gore join. It is right at my ankle bone and the felt there rubs. It was pretty uncomfortable for 5 days and has now broken down and is feeling better. I would buy another pair on sale like I did, but I don't think I would pay full retail for them
