Front and back princess seams create an attractive, feminine silhouette that falls just above the knee. The full-length, two-way front zip lets you ventilate above or below. It's good however... This jacket is extremely light and it looks great - I've been complimented - however, despite its 800-fill goose down, it does not keep me warm in 25- (or below) degree weather. It works like a charm in 30- to 40-degree climates, but it wasn't all I expected to be since I tend to get extremely cold.

Great Coat I adore the Fiona. I love how lightweight it is - makes it easy to run around doing errands, walking the dogs, etc. I have Patagonia's Down Sweater as well, and this is the equivalent in a coat style, except that it is cut leaner and therefore looks more fashion-forward. The chanterelle color is beautiful - kind of cream/gray shade. There is no compression sack pocket like there is in the Down Sweater, which is kind of a bummer because I am less likely to travel with it. I am fine with wearing the coat alone down to about 15 degree weather. After that, I think that you need to use it as a mid-layer, maybe wearing a capilene 4 baselayer underneath and/or topping it with a trench shell, like the Rain Shadow Trench Coat. I use it with the Rain Shadow Trench during wet and cold days, and they fit perfectly together!

great, but be prepared for a slim fit i absolutely love this jacket, but it was a little slimmer fitted than i expected. i have the down sweater vest and jacket in a size small, and so i ordered the fiona in a size small as well. however, unlike my sweater vest and jacket, the fiona was a bit snug in the shoulders. i might have gone with a medium if i had known this. but, i still love the lightness and warmth of the jacket.
