The Petzl BUG Backpack is designed for long, single day, multi-pitch routes. Allowing easy access to the your harness, this pack is designed to carry high on the back, and enables a rope to be strapped to the bottom. The Bug's waistbelt gives extra comfort for heavy loads and tucks away for clutter free mobility. Hydration compatible, a guide book pocket on the outside keeps you on route, an attachment loop for an emergency headlamp helps to illuminate the way, a zippered mesh pocket with key clip saves you hassles when you hit the ground, and a small pocket on shoulder strap that holds a topo map says when you're on the wrong side of the mountain. Great for carrying those heavy loads of gear on a return circumnavigation with wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps for support when your balance is challenged on the uneven terrain in fading light.
