This is my new favorite bottle! I have several Klean Kanteens and a Guyot stainless steel bottle that I use for overnight/weekend camping trips, as well as for ferrying tea to work on a daily basis. By chance I came across the Steelworks by SIGG bottles, and thought I would give one a try. I have had this bottle for about 2 months, and have been using it a lot. I really like this bottle. The 1-liter size is a good capacity for me. My 27 oz Klean Kanteen usually leaves me a little short on tea, and my 40 oz KK usually wasn't filled to capacity. I find it easier to drink out of the Steelworks bottle, as the opening is significantly smaller than that of the Klean Kanteens. Also, because the Steelworks is stainless steel, I have used it to boil 2 cups of water for freeze-dried meals. I sometimes take a bottle and cup on hikes or when camping in place of a pot or mess kit. It has survived this without any warping, bending, or discoloration. CAUTION: IF YOU BOIL WATER IN THE BOTTLE, YOU"LL NEED TO USE SOME DECENT GLOVES OR A POT HOLDER OF SOME SORT WHEN HANDLING THE BOTTLE. Also, I got a black bottle. It readily absorbed enough heat from sitting in the sun for a while to make 'sun tea.' Bottom line, this is a handsome and versatile bottle. I am contemplating ordering another one, just because I like this one so much.

I love this thing... A great water bottle. I purchased it b/c it's steel. Not plastic, nor aluminum. since I'm always carrying it I am staying more hydrated than before. In fact this is my 2nd SteelWorks bottle. I lost the first one and replaced it the same day.Being out on the road for work I was happy to find the product at Altrec. It was home when I arrived.
